Youth Mentorship

Young people are wise, resilient, tenacious, and exuberant. They are also tender, vulnerable, and often feel an enormous amount of pressure when facing the world we live in today. Fast paced, full to the brim lifestyles, coupled with an excess of stimulation, fragmented cultures, disconnected generations, and forgotten rites, young people are bereft of healthy balance, spaciousness and authentic connection to people and place.

In the age of adolescence, it is imperative that young people have examples of adults proceeding as such. This means living in service to them and the ones to follow. It means recognizing the simultaneous sorrow and beauty of our times. It summons the importance of showing up, and gives young people wind under their wings knowing they have trusted guides in their days.

Youth Mentoring is an opportunity for young ones to be seen and heard. It is a space to slow down, listen, reflect, and simply be. It is an intentional, well-held space where youth can be exactly who they are in that moment, free of expectation and judgement. Young people are invited to wonder about relevant young adult topics like authenticity versus social acceptance, healthy sexuality, creativity, purpose, meaning, and values. Loving guidance, and welcomed reflections are sprinkled throughout the arch of committed time together, and co-created ritual and ceremony are woven within.

Through this process of being seen, young people begin to discover their gifts and walk in the world. They are given a myriad of tools to support their journey towards adulthood, and gain a trusted adult that is honored to guide them. As they become more resourced, they are able to operate from a place of wholeness, veracity, and grace.

Mentorship is available online and in-person.
